About the Program
The Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management program prepares you to become a leader in parks, recreation centers, tourism organizations, schools, and more. You’ll learn both the theory and practical skills needed to manage programs and facilities, with a strong focus on hands-on experience.
Degree Pathways
Commercial Recreation and Tourism Management: Management in private, nonprofit, and public recreation and tourism sectors.
Community Recreation Management: Prepares you for municipal, state, federal, and nonprofit agencies like YMCAs, scouting organizations, and university-affiliated recreation units.
